Christian Robinson x Target: My Picks
It’s no secret Target’s been making an effort lately to add more to inclusive accessible design to their unique brands. I have loved watching them put out kids’ wheelchair costumes for Halloween, and launch a line of basic accessible clothing for kids as well. You can imagine my excitement when they announced that the launch of this collab with author/illustrator Christian Robinson would include an adaptive clothing line. I also love the overall vibe of this collection - it’s bright, quirky, and playful. Below are my picks from the new line, and you’ll want to snap them up fast. Target’s anticipating a lot of the items to go quickly!
Woolly Mammoth Pillow - How cute is this guy? I love this for a dino/explorer theme in a nursery or kids room!
Toddler Adaptive Raincoat - Adaptive features: Ease of Dressing; Adorable level: 100
Parachute Throw Blanket - This combo of colors is gorgeous, and I love the upscale retro vibe.
Toddler Adaptive Color Block Hooded Jacket - From the website description: “Specially designed to cater to adaptive needs, this quilted jacket offers easier on and off with snaps at the sides and zip-off sleeves, along with having a shorter front and longer back for easy on and off while seated.”
Kids Canvas Growth Chart - I want to buy everything with that cute little character in a wheelchair. This would be darling in a classroom too!
You Matter Wall Hanging - What a sweet reminder for our kids to have in their rooms, and the colors are spot on.
Praying Mantis Wall Hanger - I love this statement piece for a playroom! It’s both bright and practical.
Armadillo Pillow - Am I old for referencing Steel Magnolias? Because this pillow makes me think of that unforgettable groom’s cake from the movie. But also, it’s a super cute pillow!
Oversized Leaf Floor Pillow - Kind of considering carting this ASAP at the launch. It would be adorable in J’s room!
Baby Adaptive Whale Print Hoodie & Pant Set - Another gtube accessible hoodie, but with pants! I want to snag one of these for J so bad. I love the polka dotted print!
